It’s not giving “goddess glow.” It’s giving:

Jaw locked

Shoulders tight

Trust issues in a trench coqt

Because here’s the truth:

My softness was the first part of me the world tried to destroy.

And I’ll bet yours was too.

Softness isn’t weakness.

It’s reconstruction.

It’s:

Unclenching the jaw that’s been bracing since childhood

Breathing without flinching for the next hit

Opening your heart without abandoning your boundaries

Resting without guilt

Letting yourself be held by your own f*cking body

Softness is what strength looks like once it doesn’t need to perform anymore.

But let’s be real:

Softness feels dangerous when your nervous system is still expecting betrayal, chaos, or disappointment.

So no — you’re not soft “wrong.”

You’re just unlearning what hypervigilance tried to call home.

This work isn’t about being soft for

them.

Safe — in your body.

Valid — in your emotions.

Rooted — in your truth.

Softness isn’t a personality shift.

It’s nervous system restoration.
